The Fruit of our Life
Spiritual Life
A Biblical journey to explain our existence.
The Bible describes the "fruit of the Spirit" as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Without God as our source, our ability to bear this fruit is compromised. Although we have the potential to bear fruit, without God, we are like cars running on fumes. The “residue” left in us represents the measure of faith God placed within each of us at creation, yet this is smothered by our flesh and sinful nature. As our spiritual tank empties, we begin to wither and die.
When a child grows up without love, it profoundly affects their emotional and psychological development. Love is crucial for a child to feel secure, valued, and connected, fostering healthy self-esteem, empathy, and compassion. Without meeting these emotional needs, children struggle to form healthy relationships, regulate their emotions, and develop positive behaviors.
In this section, I aim to present the Gospel, the meaning of life, and humanity’s purpose in a hopefully clear and straightforward way. My goal is simply to share the truth, regardless of whether people choose to accept it.
God Esteem is Life
Without God, humanity resembles orphaned children deprived of the love they need. God's love is essential for us to feel secure, valued, and connected, nurturing a healthy sense of worth, empathy, and compassion. When these deep needs go unmet, we find it difficult to build healthy relationships, manage our emotions, and exhibit positive behaviors. This struggle is why we often find it so hard to coexist.
A child who has not experienced love spends their life searching for it—seeking self-worth, meaning, and a sense of belonging. This quest can lead them down destructive paths as they try to fill an inner void and find a place that feels like home. Without God, we experience a similar emptiness, often turning to ourselves and others for fulfillment, which only drains us further. We place unsustainable burdens on our relationships. Only God can truly fill this void. With His sustaining presence, we bear fruit that nourishes both ourselves and others, serving as a testament to a life that is vibrant, eternal, and honoring to God.
People frequently attempt to fill their inner void through worldly pursuits or by relying on others, but eventually, these sources run dry. Like branches severed from their source, we begin to wither. In God's design, fruitless branches are ultimately cast aside—to spend eternity apart from Him.
"If we don't live fully for God now, how can we expect to live for Him in Heaven?
