God's Desire For Us
Part 2

God desires to build a perfect family—with Jesus as the true Vine and His people as the branches. Through Jesus, we are united with the Father, and His Spirit flows through us, bringing life.
Just as a healthy branch bears the fruit of the vine to which it’s connected, those who abide in Christ will naturally bear the fruit of His Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
This fruit is the unmistakable evidence that someone is truly connected to God—the source of all life—and is spiritually alive in Him. This is true life; nothing else is.
The family God is building is one where He is our loving Father, nurturing and shaping us to grow into healthy branches—just like His Son, Jesus. Through His Spirit, we become Christlike, united in heart and mind, living for the Father’s will.

With God at the center of our lives, we are filled with everything we need. There’s no need to chase after the world’s empty promises, because we’ve found our sufficiency in Christ.
Because of this, the branches do not compete, clash, or grow weary with one another. Instead, they thrive together—rooted in peace, walking in harmony, and growing as one.
God extends an open invitation to all humanity—to become part of His eternal family, if they so choose. This family will live forever for His glory, a radiant, life-giving tree that stands as a testimony throughout the heavens—a source of joy and wonder for all eternity.
In short
God's desire for us is simply to have Him. He is the foundation—the soil from which all that is perfect, holy, and good springs. Jesus is the root through which we are connected to God, and the Holy Spirit is the life that flows through us, producing fruit that gives life. God desires for us to be with Him in a family defined by love, truth, and peace—a family that will endure forever.
