"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths"

Who Will You Trust?

Everyone puts their faith in someone. In life, we have only three choices: we either place our trust in people, in Satan, or in God. There are no other options.

People

If we reject both God and Satan, the only option left is to trust people—whether ourselves or others. But humans are limited. Our understanding is confined to this life, and we cannot see beyond the present moment. Moreover, we’re flawed—scarred by past wounds, shaped by biases, and often clouded in judgment. And let’s be honest: we can be stubbornly prideful, clinging to our own views even when we’re wrong.

So the question is—are we really willing to risk our souls by trusting limited, fallible humanity to provide the answers, knowing deep down they never truly can?

I place Buddha, Muhammad, and other spiritual teachers in the category of people because their teachings and influence come from human origin, not divine revelation.

Satan

When we place our faith solely in people—especially those who reject God—we are, in effect, listening to Satan’s influence. Jesus rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind me, Satan,” when Peter opposed His mission to the cross. Satan often works through those who reject God, using them to mislead others. Even if we don’t realize it, the ideas they promote may be inspired by him, guiding people away from the truth.

Ultimately, the Bible teaches there are only two final paths: the path of Satan or the path of God. People cannot save themselves or create a reality beyond what God or Satan allows.

For this reason, I categorize all other faiths under Satan’s influence and demonic deception. I believe these religions were created through Satan’s manipulation to confuse those seeking the true God and lead them away from Him. When you study these faiths closely, they always end in the limitations of human understanding.

God

Unlike people or Satan, God transcends humanity—He is our Creator and the source of all truth. He sent a Savior who came from Heaven to earth, conquered death, and holds the keys to the gates of Hell.

Many dismiss God as a man-made idea, but when we study Scripture—the wisdom, prophecies, truth, and the life of Jesus—it becomes difficult to believe that limited humans could have produced something so profound and consistent.

Some might ask, “How do we know Satan isn’t masquerading as God?” The very existence of Satan points to the existence of God. If the God of the Bible were a lie crafted by Satan, then where is the real God—the one who can rescue us from deception?

Everyone places their faith in someone—so I ask you, who will you trust? Call out to God and listen for His answer from beyond this universe. When the Almighty responds, you’ll realize your faith was never misplaced. You can reject all faiths, but in doing so, you are still placing faith in yourself—making it impossible to say that faith does not exist.

Faith is unavoidable—so the question remains: who will you trust?

Jeremiah 17:5–7 (ESV)

“Thus says the Lord: 'Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.
He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.'”

"In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know."
