The Trinity
The Godhead

What do I know about the Trinity? Probably as much as anyone else—not much. But here’s what I can say:
God exists as one being in three co-equal, co-eternal persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. They share the same divine essence, working in perfect unity.
God is spirit and the Creator of all things. Jesus, God in the flesh, was seen by many, as He Himself declared: "Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9). As the ultimate revelation of God in human form, He embodies the fullness of deity (John 1:14, Colossians 1:15).
The Holy Spirit—the breath of God, the third person of the Trinity—sanctifies, convicts, guides, and teaches believers. He possesses divine attributes such as omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence, and eternality. He is not merely a force but a person, as He thinks, comforts, feels, and has a will.
What I Do Know
God’s majesty is beyond what our human eyes can handle. His glory is so overwhelming that no one can look upon Him in His fullness and live:
• Exodus 33:20 – "You cannot see My face, for no man shall see Me and live."
• 1 Timothy 6:16 – "Who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see."
Even brief encounters with His presence left lasting effects—Moses’ face shone after being near Him (Exodus 34:29), and Isaiah was undone in his vision of God (Isaiah 6:5).
The only way to see, know, experience, and commune with God is through the Trinity. We need the Father to commune with, Jesus as the way to Him—the bridge between God and us—and the Holy Spirit to awaken our hearts, restoring us to a true relationship with Him.
I may never fully grasp the mystery of the Trinity, but I know this: without the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I would be lost. It is awe-inspiring to see how God has perfectly designed it—all working in harmony for His glory and our ultimate good.
