The Beginnings
Why We Exist

We exist because a perfect God created us to share in His glory. Our very being is rooted in His desire to express and expand that glory—just as a tree naturally extends its branches, His boundless love flowed outward, bringing us into existence.
Like branches connected to a vine, we were created to bear the fruit of our Creator. As our loving Father, God pours out His love, truth, care, and protection, equipping us to share this fruit with one another. God desired to create a beautiful family tree, one that would exist in perfect love, truth, and peace, all for His glory. The fuel for our existence is God's life-giving spirit flowing through us.
Without God, we are like branches severed from the vine—lifeless, aimless, and orphaned, yearning for our Father. We are like a dead light bulb, desperately seeking a source of light we cannot find. Any flicker of light we emit is merely a remnant of the faith God has graciously given to all of us. The small glimpses of love, truth, and morality we manage to display are only possible because of His grace. But even these efforts fall short, tainted by sin and our selfish need for the true power source—God Himself.
We exist because God is creating a perfect family in Heaven, a perfect place free from the chaos we experience on earth. Perfection is essential because God is perfect, and anything that opposes true peace, love, and truth will ultimately corrupt the family tree. Without this purity, it would wither, decay, and spiritually die over time.
The meaning we seek can only be found when the branch reconnects to the vine, when the child is reunited with the Father, and when the dead bulb returns to its true source of light in God. We may try to fill the void with temporary substitutes—drawing small traces of love from one another, finding meaning in our work, wealth, or substances like drugs and alcohol, or searching within ourselves to love who we are. But these are merely temporary fixes—band-aids that mask the deeper issue. Ultimately, they lead us further from the truth, preventing us from finding the true fulfillment that can only be found in God.

"For
you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I
praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well."
