"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,"

Devotion
Introduction

Every day, I wrestle with my own thoughts, constantly focused on myself—my wants, desires, and ambitions. I’ve been conditioned to prioritize my needs, center my thoughts on self-improvement, and look out for my own interests. I’ve been taught to avoid hardship, seek comfort and pleasure, and pursue personal success. It’s a habitual battle I face daily.

Some might wonder, what’s wrong with that? The issue is that this self-focus blocks me from fully surrendering to Christ, keeping me from experiencing a deeper, more fulfilling relationship with Jesus—a relationship that brings true joy.

I could try to convince myself to be content with a shallow faith, justifying it by saying, “God loves me anyway.” And while He does, that would be robbing myself—and worse, attempting to deceive Christ, which never works.

The one thing I know is this: if I don’t die to the “I” within me, I’ll never have the kind of faith I’m unashamed to share with my loved ones—the kind of faith that truly glorifies Christ.

In this section, I’ll share personal reflections, life experiences, and the heartaches, joys, and challenges I've faced, both with and without God, through devotional words
