"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

– Matthew 7:13-14

The Truth of Life
The Perfect Family

God is forming a perfect family—a life-giving tree rooted in love and truth, a kingdom where every heart reflects His glory. This is Heaven.

But there’s only one way in: perfection—to be holy, blameless, without sin or fault from birth until this very moment. Nothing less can stand in the presence of a perfect God.

But how can we achieve such perfection?

We can’t.

No human effort can bridge the gap between our sin and God’s perfection. Not reading the Bible, not attending church, not serving others, not even dedicating our lives to ministry. These are good things, but they can’t make us perfect. Being a “good person” isn’t enough because it doesn’t address the deeper issue—the sinful nature within us, the part that rebels against God and leads us astray.

The only way to enter the kingdom of Heaven is to recognize our sinful nature, surrender fully to God, turn from the ways of this world, and follow Jesus. When we do, God gives us a new heart—one that longs to do good as He is good, to love as He loves, and to seek Him in all we do: reading His Word, serving others, giving generously, and sharing His truth.

So how does this bring us to perfection?

As long as we live on this side of Heaven, we’ll still wrestle with the remnants of our sinful nature. But our perfection doesn’t come from what we do—it comes from Christ’s sacrifice and the presence of His Spirit within us. When we surrender to God, we are adopted into His family as His children. Though we may stumble and sin, our failures have already been paid for by Jesus. When we stand before God, He doesn’t see our past—He sees the perfect righteousness of His Son.

We are made perfect because we belong to Christ.

He is the vine, and we are the branches—connected, nourished, and alive in Him. God sees this relationship as perfect because we have surrendered to Christ and given Him authority over our lives.

With the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, our desires begin to change. We start to long for the things of God—holiness, love, truth, and righteousness. Though the struggle with sin may continue, God sees the heart that has been transformed by His Spirit. Our perfection flows not from who we are, but from who Christ is in us.

To believe that church attendance, Bible reading, or simply being a good person can earn a place in Heaven is not just futile—it’s a misunderstanding of grace. God looks beyond actions to the motives of the heart. Without the Holy Spirit, even our best intentions are tainted by a broken nature.

Any attempt to earn Heaven on our own is not only impossible—it’s a rejection of God’s truth and grace. These efforts become empty religion—human striving that falls far short of the perfection God requires.

The only way to Heaven is through surrender. Only then can Christ transform your heart and make you part of His perfect masterpiece—His eternal family, full of love, truth, and life.

Heaven is not earned—it’s received through surrender.
And in that surrender, we are made whole, woven into the eternal beauty of God’s perfect love.
